
These are our newest additions, unnamed at present, but we will take suggestions. They were born yesterday (ever wanted to say that as a fact?) to Prunella. I had thought of Raisin, Fig, and Plum, but so far no real choice has emerged. I am a better prognosticator for goat kids' birthdates than for human ones, because I missed this batch by one day. Missed my own by weeks and in one case, months.

Yes, there are three babies in the picture. However, in the pen, there are two, since on of them didn't make it. The other doe had two last Sunday. That was an interesting process, more distressing for the goat, interesting for me and Nancy to watch. She has delivered babies, and is fascinated by the whole thing, as am I.
I'm posting this after my comment on the other goats babies, but in addition to being glad I'm not a goat because of the hooves the babies have, I'm also glad I'm not a goat cause of the horns...but they are cute kids, lol.
