More Overrun Acres

We had a cookout, and the porch built for stout got a workout. It passed the test, and is still intact.

Recently, Samantha came from Arizona for a visit. Actually, she came to see Luna, the new baby, in Arkansas, but we were blessed to have her here for a few days.

If the rest of you get tired of Overrun Acres being almost the only thing on this blog, you know the fix for that! We want to see your news and pictures, too.

The one in the black shirt is Paul Allee. He is getting ready to go to the Army Reserve for the second summer. They do grow up, so quickly.

This is Jessie, our six-foot tall blond. Some people are blessed with height, and some of us are vertically challenged.

Samantha and a happpy grandmother.

Samantha and a happy grandfather.

Everybody looks happy. Samatha is still a very beautiful girl. Where did she get those good looks?

I've seen the porch and it looks good too.

Susie, I should be so slender as you look in that picture. I'd be happy with your size. I haven't that slender for years.

Have no clue where Samantha got her genes. Paul got the same body build, only male. And thanks for the compliment, but if you notice, I am bigger than anyone else in the picture. Whatever--I am just thankful I can still find clothes to wear, even if the "too-small" part of my closet keeps expanding.

Betty: Good to hear from you! I am still working on that organizational chart of the family so you can identify the actors--and David needs one, he said, to keep them all straight. Maybe a genogram would be good, except they also have descriptors of relationships, which might not be wise.
