It May Be Three Cents a Month, But We Will Be Grateful
The surveyors are marking land for what one of them says will be fifteen gas wells. At least one of those should produce Mailbox Money for us sometime in the future.
One of them told Dave he knew a woman in Shreveport who is getting $13,000 a week.
I am hardly that optimistic, but it will be interesting to see what happens out here on Overrun Acres.
The goats just said "Bah".

Well, I just put $58.00 worth of gas in my little Toyota, so I would be thrilled to see someone in my family get some awl money.
I think it would be great if you were to get 13K a week. You could laugh all the way to the bank from your mobile home village.
Goldman Sachs is predicting $141 a barrel by summer, so the demand can only increase.

that's more than what my husband brings home a month from his job after tax, insurance, and FICA deductions...
Gas here is almost four dollars a gallon and rising; sure wish I had the money for one of them thar hydrogen cars...

Ashley, don't feel bad. We never made $13,000 a month, either, unless it was a month we sold a house.
Yeah, I was just telling someone the other day what little I knew about you and poppy's lives together, the hardships and the perseverance, and how it all seems to have worked out for y'all.
