The snowsuit wearer is David. This was at the Webster Groves house, 643 Fairview. He would have been about two, not more than three years old.

In front of the garage in Kirkwood, apparently before going to church, judging from the clothes and hats, is Mother, Mary, and Grandma Broadus in the back, and me in the front.

In the side yard of the Kirkwood house are Mary, Mother, Daddy, David and me. We had a dog named Poochie, but he died. Then we had another, but I am not sure which one this was.

The little girl with the tattered dress is me. The last haircut I got looks just like this one.

The cute little fellow in the overalls and hat was Ed, taken at Grandpa and Grandma's Sheridan house. The same cute little boy is in the peacoat. The season must have changed. Ed, are those basement windows in that house?

Daddy is holding Mary and me, and that is Wendell holding Jimmy. Don and Ed are in the front.

The four in a row are the three sophisticated Broaduses and their kid sister with the snowball. David must have been napping.

The brown and white sox pairs are Mary and me. We were probably ten and thirteen. This was shortly before the accident.

Then there is the young Paul and Ruth with their two boys, Edwin Lee and Donald Jean. Ed, where was this taken?

I think I have them all listed, but if not, I will correct any errors when someone points out the deficit.

The picture of David and me was taken in front of Grandma and Grandpa's house at 1106 S. Topeka in Wichita, the best I remember. The three men are Herbert and Paul Broadus and Yater Tant, a friend of the family who was also a Church of Christ minister. He was the minister at Tenth and Francis in Oklahoma City for at least part of the time we went to church there. I think he was discussed in an earlier post, along with his family. This picture was taken at 1321 Mulvane in Topeka, at Herbert and Elice's house.

The picture of Ed was probably taken in Abilene, but I will leave that to Ed to explain.

I'm finally learning how to scan stuff. I'll leave it to you to post for me if you don't mind. These were taken one summer in Topeka when Ruth and Paul lived on Huntoon in a big, red (I think) brick house. The pictures were taken on the front porch and in the back yard. The two little photos of Edwin (Lee? sometimes) and Don(ald Jean/Gene? always at that point in his life) were school shots, I'm pretty sure. Mary couldn't get around such a mouthful, so he became DonDean for awhile. Southern families in those days were really hot for using both given names. Earlier on, I was Betty Lou, until I rebelled. If a boy, I would have been Robert Eugene so I could be called Bobby Gene. Aaaarrrgghh!
