Broadus Clan

I think this picture of our dad was taken in 48' or 49'. The one of mother was taken in her bedroom in Kirkwood so I guess that would be in 49'. Correct me if I am wrong. David sure does look like our dad doesn't he. Paul's came out of a picture taken at a meeting in KC for Cook's. Don took this one of mother when she was cutting up as she often did.

Here we are again. This time I believe that we are on vacation at Eagle's Nest, New Mexico. The group setting on the log are Edwin, Elene(she is holding Mary), then Wilma Jean (?) and Don. Weren't they our dad's cousins on the Broadus side.

The next picture is from left to right, Grandpa Broadus, Grandma Broadus, Donald, Edwin and Paul our dad. I don't know where mother and I were. This is where I got hit in the nose with a tin can. If this comes out in the right order the next picture is of our uncle Wendell Broadus, his wife Becky and grandma Pearl Broadus and Grandpa Otis Broadus. Then comes the picture of our mother Ruth, Edwin, Don and myself in the stroller. That was probably taken in Columbia, Mo., or Topeka, Kansas. Correct me if I am wrong in my assumptions.

Then we jump a lot of years and this picture is of brother Don relaxing at a friends home close to his farm. He spent a lot of evenings in their home. If I am not mistaken it was on Christmas day the year before he passed away. Maybe 2003.

The picture on the left is of Debbie Brown daughter of Don and Mary Brown. She is about two years old. The picture on the right is Ruth Broadus our mother. It was taken in front of our Webster Groves home about 1947

This is a real mixture of times and one repeat. The first of course is of Ed & Junie cutting their wedding cake. Next is of myself(Mary) taken in Round Rock when I was in Real Estate, 1980, Don's was taken the same day.
