Houston Flooding

Here are some pics from my house on the west side of Houston after 10 inch an hour rain.

The first is my bedroom with every comforter and towel I could find to absorb the water.

The second is my kitchen/den with about an inch of water covering the floor.

The last is my driveway and street which is a lake.

My problems are minor. Many neighborhoods are under water and the residents are evacuating, their houses totally flooded. My damage is confined to the back side and can be easily cleaned up as the water recedes.
